This month, we are welcoming a new vendor. We are pleased to introduce Fas Handmade. As a little girl, Karen, the creator of Fas Handmade, began creating. She grew up in rural Cape Breton and particularly became interested in sewing ten years ago.
She graduated from the Costume Studies Program at Dalhousie University, in Halifax, NS. Today, she spends a lot her time sewing away, painting, tending to her garden, and hiking. Her thoughtful, handmade clothing pieces are influenced by a desire to make clothing out of natural fibres, sustainably and ethically. Welcome, Fas Handmade!
